When my yoga teacher invited me to hike up to Evan’s Peak in Golden Ears Park with her, I jumped at the opportunity! We were greeted with some beautiful clouds and soft light at the summit. The conditions were perfect for capturing some moody mountain vibes!
When my yoga teacher invited me to go on a trip up Golden Ears, I knew I had to jump at the opportunity. We experienced near perfect conditions, and had a heck of a good time! Here’s a few shots from our two day adventure.
When my dad, brother and I arrived at the upper Joffre Lake, the entire glacier was surrounded by fog. It seemed as though we wouldn’t get a good glimpse on that rainy day. So we sat down, had lunch, and over the course of about 5 minutes the fog lifted and the magnificent glacier presented itself!
On my ride back from Manitoba I really wanted to ride up the Icefields Parkway again. However cold and wet weather meant moto-camping wouldn’t be much fun. Instead I just passed through Jasper one afternoon, and took as many pictures from the side of the road as I could!
These single shots (as well as the B/W & sequence) are a compilation from two race weekends I attended in Saskatchewan, Canada. I was on my own motorbike trip throught the prairies when my aunt invited me to come watch my cousing race. As I fricken love motorsport, I immediately said yes! I spent two whole weekends taking photos from dawn till dusk. I think I snapped over 5,000 shots! Here’s a few singles that I really liked. Be sure to check out the black & white gallery, and the sequence gallery as well! Enjoy :)
I set aside a few photos to edit only in black in White. I love how epic the black and white treatment makes these shots looks! This is what poetry in motion looks like.
The beautiful thing about photographing motocross is you get to see exactly what a rider is doing. Their lean angle, body position, height, depth, everything! I’ve spent hours analyzing the frame the frame action, and it never ceases to put a smile on my face.
I took all these shots while traveling on my motorbike. The Icefields Parkway between Jasper and Banff is definitely one of the most stunning places I’ve ever seen! Most of these photos were taken along that magnificent stretch of highway, with some detours to nearby attractions. I definitely need to return pronto!
